The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards (yes, that's still a thing!) took place Monday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, which of course means the stars were out for the occasion.
Huge baseball/entertainment couple Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez (who was to be honored with the Video Vanguard Award at the show) rallied their crew together for a night out:
And when they got there, the cameras came out ... both from the professional photographers in tow, but also A-Rod himself. Even while Jennifer was getting her photos taken by a bevy of camera-clad paparazzi, Alex had to snap some of his own -- which led to this amusing meta photo of A-Rod taking a photo:

And when it came time for J-Lo to accept her Video Vanguard Award, she gave Alex a special shout-out toward the end of her acceptance speech, for good measure.
