Watch young catcher Kenley Jansen throw out Ryan Braun at second in the 2009 WBC

Nowadays, Kenley Jansen is best known as the postseason-saving, 98-mph-cutter-wielding strikeout artist at the heart of the Dodgers bullpen. But back in 2009, before the All-Star appearances and the 2.20 career ERA, he wasn't Kenley Jansen: Shutdown Closer. He was Kenley Jansen: Minor League ... catcher.
When the Dodgers first signed Jansen out of Curacao as a teenager back in 2005, they hoped he'd develop into their backstop of the future. And while his calling eventually turned out to be on the mound, he had plenty of high points behind the plate -- like, for example, the 2009 World Baseball Classic, where Jansen started at catcher for Team Netherlands (though Curacao is a small island off the coast of Venezuela, it's technically a constituent country of the Netherlands).
The Netherlands beat the Dominican Republic twice to reach the second round of the tournament, where they ran into Team USA. And while America eventually took home a 9-3 win, the game also featured Jansen throwing out Ryan Braun at second from his knees:

Yeah, it's unsurprising that that guy would go on to strike out four batters in an inning.
