Newest Cub Daniel Murphy absolutely mashes at Wrigley Field

Over the last few years, Daniel Murphy has turned himself into one of the best hitters in baseball. So, it's not all that surprising that he has above-average numbers in multiple ballparks around the league.
But Wrigley Field, the place Murphy will now call home after being acquired on waivers by the Cubs on Tuesday, is perhaps his favorite place to hit. You may remember the hallowed grounds as the setting where little old Daniel Murphy became DAMN DANIEL Murphy back in the 2015 NLCS. He hit two of his record seven postseason homers against the Cubs in the Friendly Confines:

Murphy has an unfathomable 43 hits in 104 regular-season at-bats at Wrigley, including seven dingers, nine doubles and 14 RBIs. His slash line is a ridiculous .413/.440/.702 -- that's good for a 1.142 OPS, easily the best for any stadium in which he's had at least 30 plate appearances. Look at him just peppering the ball all over the field during a 4-for-4 day a couple years ago:

He's even able to apparate to whatever base he wants there:

Give the Cubs the Commissioner's Trophy now.
