Eduardo Nunez seemed quite ecstatic about his leadoff inside-the-park home run

How did Eduardo Nunez feel after his leadoff, inside-the-park home run in the Twins' 6-4 win overthe Rays on Thursday? Well, this probably gives you an idea:

After knocking Matt Moore's second pitch of the game deep to the right-field wall and racing around the bases in 15.23 seconds (fastest of the year) as the ball ricocheted into the corner, Nunez slid into home spread-eagled, like he was diving into a giant pool of pudding:

He remained like that for a moment, basking in the joy of the first inside-the-parker of his career.
Well, and probably catching his breath:
"I thought, 'I made it!' I was just so tired, I didn't want to run anymore at that point," he told MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger after the game.
