Edwin Jackson signed with the A's and could tie Octavio Dotel's 13-team record

(John Bazemore)

Edwin Jackson has accomplished many things during his 377 big league games. He has 98 wins, he made an All-Star team in 2009 and he pitched a weird, eight-walk, 149-pitch no-hitter for the D-backs.
But the accomplishment we've been dutifully tracking here at Cut4 is his (well, probably not his) goal to play for the most teams ever. As of the end of the 2017 season, he'd played for 12 in 15 years -- one off Octavio Dotel's record of 13. And finally, on Wednesday, we learned that Jackson had signed with his 13th organization:

All he needs is the call from the big club -- which seems likely given the injuries to Oakland's starting staff. But why stop there? Why not go for all 30? The Dodgers, Devil Rays (and Rays), Tigers, D-backs, White Sox, Cardinals, Nationals, Cubs, Braves, Marlins, Padres, Orioles and A's won't mind the company.
