The B.O.A.R.D.: Game 7 belongs to the Astros

Each October, the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. Whether it's the Rally Monkey in 2002, Daniel Murphy in 2015 or David Ross last year, October is always dominated by a particular force. With so much good baseball packed into one month, it's sometimes tough to follow all the madness, so we created the Baseball October Arbitrary Rankings Device (The B.O.A.R.D.) to keep track of it all.
Game 7 forced a total reset of The B.N.A.R.D. (remember, the acronym used to stand for Baseball October Arbitrary Rankings Device, but it's November now), even though José Altuve had been holding onto the top spot for quite some time.
Of course, the Astros won the World Series, defeating the Dodgers, 5-1. That means Altuve made his way back onto the B.N.A.R.D. … and so did "Sports Illustrated"? Click play above to learn more.
