Carlos Gomez snapped a bat over his knee after striking out, but a few innings later smacked a walk-off bomb

The Rays won in walk-off fashion on Sunday, compliments of a moonshot from Carlos Gómez in the bottom of the ninth. And it was the cherry on top of a previous at-bat that left him with some broken lumber.
Before the Rays' 8-6 win over the Twins, the center fielder did a Bo Jackson impression when he struck out in the bottom of the fifth while both teams were tied at two -- and he made it look rather easy:

His two-run bomb, (and first career walk-off) that came at the end of the game, had a little bit of everything: power, a bat flip and some Yasiel Puig-like tongue action:

Talk about redemption from the box.
