Andrew Benintendi made himself the favorite for World Series MVP

Each October, the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. With so much good baseball packed into one month, it's sometimes tough to follow all the madness. So, we created the Baseball October Arbitrary Ranking Device (The B.O.A.R.D.) to keep track of it all.
Before the fall classic got started Tuesday evening, Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi was given 25-1 odds to bring home the World Series MVP award. Those odds seemed a little long at the time for a guy who has a tendency to come up big in key moments, and now he looks like the MVP frontrunner after racking up four hits in Game 1.
But with fierce competition from base-stealing Taco HeroMookie Betts and clutch pinch-hit-dinger-knocking Eduardo Núñez, did Benintendi do enough to claim the top spot on The B.O.A.R.D.?
