Justin Verlander met Eminem at 'SNL' and the pair snapped a photo together

Justin Verlander may not pitch for the Tigers anymore, but his years of dominance for Detroit no doubt hold him in high esteem for fans even though he's pitching for Houston.
Speaking of years of dominance, Eminem is one of the most successful musicians to come from the region thanks to years of his own chart-topping dominance in the hip-hop realm. Combine the two, and what do you get? A pretty formidable duo:

Verlander and wife Kate Upton appeared on both The Today Show and The Tonight Show on Friday, discussing their lavish wedding in Tuscany and how Game 7 of the World Series nearly upended their plans. 
Stopping by Studio 8H at Rockefeller Center to take in a taping of SNL -- which was hosted by Chance the Rapper and included a three-song medley of "Walk on Water," "Stan" and "Love the Way You Lie" from Eminem and Skylar Grey -- was the next logical activity for the weekend.
