It's only October, but Coors Field is already coated in a beautiful layer of snow

The Rockies nearly defeated the D-backs in the NL Wild Card Game, cutting the lead to 8-7 in the top of the eighth, before eventually losing, 11-8. Had they won, it would have created a bit of an issue for the postseason schedule as the Rockies would have been playing the Dodgers tonight at Coors Field. That ... probably wouldn't have happened:

Of course, perhaps the Rockies could have tried to play through the weather, giving the Denver natives a kind-of-home-field advantage. 
Snow has been a bit of a problem for postseason teams in the past -- even without Coors Field's mile-high elevation. Game 5 of the 2008 World Series was postponed first by rain, and then by snow. And the 1997 World Series saw snow flurries during the game.
