Photo of the Day: Luke Hochevar turned Royals Photo Day into Photobomb Ian Kennedy Day

In the dark days of winter, we spend our time anxiously counting down the days until baseball is back in our lives -- the countdown to pitchers and catchers reporting, the countdown to Spring Training games, the countdown to Opening Day. But amid all this commotion, there's another holiday that deserves its own celebration: Photo Day, when teams and players get in front of a camera to remind us that even athletes can take an awkward yearbook picture.
Each year brings its own embarrassment of photographic riches, and it's only fitting that Photo Day 2016 was led by the defending champs -- and their reliever-turned-photobombing-madman Luke Hochevar, who took it upon himself to welcome Ian Kennedy to Kansas City by sneaking in the back of his best gameface. At least he didn't make off with the Commissioner's Trophy, though.
