Reds manager Bryan Price put his argument with an umpire on pause for God Bless America
In the top of the seventh inning of the Reds' 10-5 win over the Mets on Sunday, home-plate umpire Shane Livensparger called strike three on Cincinnati second baseman
For a few seconds, Price argued with Livensparger near home plate, while first-base umpire Jerry Layne attempted to calm everybody down. And then, suddenly, everyone stopped: It was time for 'God Bless America.'
As you can see in the clip above, all three men abruptly shifted gears, taking off their hats and standing side-by-side until the song was over -- at which point Price had calmed down and decided to simply walk back to the dugout.
