Pitch of the Night: Rich Hill completely flummoxed Anthony Rizzo with his curveball

Although Rich Hill is a nice cheerleader, he's an even better pitcher, and he had the chance to show off his skills on Sunday night in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series presented by Camping World. The Dodgers won, 4-1, and Hill played a pivotal role in limiting the dangerous Cubs offense to one run.
Hill set a new career-high for most strikeouts in a playoff game with eight, as he held his old team to one run on three hits over five innings of work. He set the tone from the get-go with this devastating pitch to Anthony Rizzo in the first inning:

Rizzo suffered a case of jelly legs on that offering.
Three pitches later, Hill unfurled another nasty curve, and Rizzo went down swinging:

Unsurprisingly, Rizzo struck out in his second at-bat against Hill, too. When Hill's curve is working, it's just going to be a tough day at the office.
With the Dodgers staked to a 2-0 series lead, the NLCS now shifts to Chicago. Tune in to Game 3, Tuesday, 9 p.m. ET/8 CT/6 PT on TBS.
