Shohei Ohtani was absolutely unfair to Jose Iglesias on a three-pitch strikeout

Rain in the forecast might have caused a delay for Shohei Ohtani against the Tigers on Wednesday night in Detroit, but it couldn't stop him from taking the mound entirely. He threw five innings of three-hit ball, allowing just one run and striking out five before rain ended his start early.
Ohtani looked especially sharp against José Iglesias in the bottom of the fifth, when he stymied the shortstop with three nasty strikes in a row:

After chucking a knee-buckler in the zone for strike one, Ohtani made Iglesias wave at a pair of sliders that gradually drifted farther out of the zone.
