Noah Syndergaard capped his historic outing with a relevant 'Avengers: Endgame' reference
Thor was straight-up dealing, and looked pretty imposing in doing so.
It was his finest start of the season, especially after a first month-plus that saw him go 1-3 with a 6.35 ERA in six starts. So, Syndergaard began the month of May with a fresh start -- something he alluded to on Twitter after the game (warning: minor "Avengers: Endgame" reference incoming):

If the image above doesn't make sense to you, go see "Endgame." If it does make sense, you'll appreciate this postgame nugget from MLB.com's Anthony DiComo:
Noah Syndergaard, who shaved his beard and wore his hair down during the game today, said he's never pitching with a beard again.— Anthony DiComo (@AnthonyDiComo) May 2, 2019
Adrian Garro joined MLB.com in 2016. Throughout his travels, both Bartolo Colon and Vin Scully have placed their hands on his shoulders. Not at the same time, though. That'd be amazing.
