You'll laugh and laugh some more at this Three Stooges-esque CPBL blooper

(Clair, Michael)

It sounds like a riddle: On a rainy night, the right fielder, second baseman and center fielder converge on a high pop-fly ball. Who catches it?
The answer, as this video from the CPBL's (Chinese Professional Baseball League) first game of the season between the Chinatrust Brothers and Fubon Guardians proves, is no one.

It's like the Bermuda Triangle opened up in shallow right field as Guardians right fielder Chang Chien-Ming dropped the ball, inadvertantly flipping it up to center fielder Lin Che-Hsuan as he hit the ground. Lin then scooped the ball, giving second baseman Lin Wei-Ting a chance to rush in and finish with a Three Stooges-esque diving attempt to catch the ball. Though it was all for naught on this instance, the Guardians would go on to beat the Brothers, 8-5.
Sure, we've missed the home runs and diving plays, but let's not forget to rejoice in the bloopers as baseball season returns around the globe.
