In bizarre sequence of events, catcher Jesus Sucre commits balk while pitching

If you arrive in the bottom of the eighth inning and your team is leading, 11-6, things will probably get a little weird. That's what happened for the Astros as they led the Rays in Houston on Monday night.
Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash opted to use a position player as a pitcher to start off the inning, bringing in catcher Jesús Sucre -- who had two appearances as a pitcher for the Mariners in 2015 -- to toss the full frame.

Despite Sucre's can-do attitude, it ... didn't go great. He gave up two doubles, two walks and three runs. But the strangest moment came with one out and Tyler White at the plate.
Sucre began his windup on the 0-1 offering, but decided to restart when it didn't quite feel right. Unfortunately, that's a balk, and the two runners on base each advanced:

When position players pitch, weird things happen -- that's baseball. Houston ultimately finished off the game, 14-7.
