Hear Vin Scully welcome Rob and Robin Segedin's son, Robinson, into the world

It's been a whirlwind week for Rob Segedin. On Monday, with his wife, Robin, in labor at the hospital set to give birth to their son, Segedin hit his first career home run in Cincinnati. 
A night later, Segedin clubbed another homer, this one off Madison Bumgarner, and was removed from the game early so he could rush to the hospital for the big moment.
Little Robinson Segedin arrived on Tuesday night:

Welcome to the world Robinson Marley! Born August 23rd at 11:36pm. Weighing in at 6 lb 14 oz and 20.5 inches long! Mommy and baby are doing great!

And was met by two of his father's teammates, J.P. Howell and A.J. Ellis, on Wednesday:

But that's not all that Robinson Segedin received as a newborn ... as seen atop this post, Vin Scully told his story on the air during the Dodgers' 1-0 win over the Giants in Los Angeles. That's a type of honor reserved for a very select few, a group of which Robinson is now a member.
And let's talk about his name ... as the Cespedes BBQ guys broke down, it's really all quite perfect:
