Adam Wainwright shows off crazy pitcher power with second-deck home run

While we were watching  Bartolo Colon's 101.9 mph foul ball in awe and dreaming of what could be, Adam Wainwright decided that he wanted to show what is. Coming to bat in the bottom of the fourth against the Phillies on Monday night, Wainwright unloaded to hit a three-run, game-tying home run into the second deck.
Exit velocity? 105.4 mph (or 1.03 Bartolos).

Wainwright now has seven career dingers, though his last was way back in 2012. Still, that total is enough for fourth among active pitchers, behind Madison Bumgarner, Yovani Gallardo and Travis Wood. Given that Wainwright has the ability to power a ball at over 105 mph, perhaps we shouldn't be surprised.
Behind Wainwright's power (he also doubled) and six strong innings on the mound, the Cardinals went on to win, 10-3.
