Watch Jonny Gomes wallop some Spring Training dingers in Japan

As Spring Training stretches into its fourth week (complete with its car shows and parking lot home runs), maybe you've found yourself thinking, "I wonder what's up with Jonny Gomes over in Japan?" 
After 83 games with the Braves last season, then winning a World Series with the Royals and serving as their unofficial master of ceremonies, Gomes announced he was headed to Nippon Professional Baseball to play for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in 2016. Well, even though he's not in MLB, you know what's up with Jonny Gomes? This, from Sunday's exhibition game against the Chunichi Dragons:
Just check out that hybrid bat flip/toss. Gomes' former teammate Mike Napoli knows what's up:

But it was not Gomes' first homer of the spring for the Eagles. One from early March:

Isn't it reassuring to know Gomes is still doing his thing somewhere? Now we just have to convince the Eagles to let him pitch in a game.
