Travel back in time and watch Ryon Healy homer at Angel Stadium years before he was pro

(Clair, Michael)

Like all of us, Ryon Healy attended high school. Unlike everyone else, though, he never had those horrible awkward teenage years -- at least, if this local news footage is any proof.
Long before his impressive rookie season with the A's this season -- during which Healy hit .305/.337/.524 with 13 home runs in a half season of work -- the third baseman was a star for Crespi High School in Encino, Calif.
Turns out, he had even homered in Angel Stadium long before the Majors came calling, going 3-for-4 with a dinger as a junior as this local news segment detailed. Healy also has some pretty impressive bloodlines, as Healy's mother was "one of the prolific softball pitchers in the history of the city section."
Watch the video below and try not to compare your own high school exploits to Healy's. Because no matter what, the future Major Leaguer is going to win every time.
