Watch this softball player flip her bat like it's Thor's hammer

There are bat flips -- where the player joyfully tosses their bat high into the air, seemingly expecting it to break through the atmosphere and soar into space -- and then there's what Megan Wiggins did on Sunday. Wiggins, an outfielder for the USSSA Pride, homered against the Akron Racers in the National Pro FastPitch Championship semifinals and unleashed this toss.

That's not a bat flip, that's a gauntlet being thrown. That's Thor's hammer crushing The Destroyer's metallic skull. That's a bat flip that left a reading on the Richter scale.
The homer would help the Pride defeat the Racers and advance to the finals to take on the Chicago Bandits -- the first game of which took place later that day. The Pride took Game 1 of the best-of-three series thanks in part to Wiggins, who went 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored in the 3-1 victory. The Pride and Bandits face off again on Monday night as Wiggins and the Pride look to clinch the title.
