Blue Jays in Schools powered by Jays Care gives students across Canada the opportunity to experience the power of baseball. Jays Care partners with educators across the country to run free extracurricular baseball programming at their school, while providing them access to equipment, training, and resources at no cost. Students are introduced to the game in a fun and safe environment, where they build character, resilience, and a sense of belonging. More than 63,000 students from 1,700 partner schools across every province and territory have been given access to baseball through Blue Jays in Schools.

Team up with the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays to bring award-winning extracurricular baseball programming to your school. Free, easy to run, and built to help every young person play, connect, thrive, and experience the power of baseball.

We are committed to creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces where all youth can play, connect, and thrive through the power of baseball. To help increase access to sport, we particularly encourage programs that engage self-identified girls, children and youth with cognitive and/or physical disabilities, Indigenous children and youth, and children and youth facing additional barriers to participation in sport.
Blue Jays in Schools partners must be committed to:
- Creating safe and welcoming spaces for all participants
- Offering introductory baseball programming free of charge to participants
- Embracing a sport-for-development coaching approach
- Supporting young people who have been historically underserved or marginalized
