In Memory and In Honour Gifts

When you make an in memoriam gift or a gift in honour of someone special in your life, you extend the legacy of your loved one and celebrate them in a meaningful way, while helping to level the playing field for over 59,000 children and youth across Canada. Make a donation and send an e-card with a personal message to the family/individual notifying them that a donation has been made to Jays Care Foundation.

" Andrew was a life-long baseball and Blue Jays fan. Over time he introduced many friends to the game and took great pleasure in seeing them become dedicated fans like he was. Recently, when he suddenly passed away, we couldn’t think of a better way to honour him than with making donations in his name to Jays Care Foundation. In recent years Andrew had supported many of the foundation’s fundraising initiatives like the cutout (of his grandmother used during the pandemic) and the 50/50 draws . It meant a lot to him knowing his donations were enabling children facing barriers to play the game he loved to play and watch." – Elaine

"It had been about a year since we lost our son, brother and friend, Matt, to a tragic car accident. We were coming up on what would have been his 36th birthday and wanted to hold an event in his memory. Matt had made a profound impact on many of our lives, bringing many of us together through our shared passion for sports! As we debated on how to properly honour Matt, we came across Jays Care Foundation and their goal of providing access to sports for all those who face barriers to access and inclusion. Sports and inclusion, those were pillars Matt stood on proudly and something we could rally an event around. While Matt is no longer with us, the annual golf tournament created in his memory serves as our way to honour and remember Matt, by helping those around the country come together and enjoy the game Matt grew up playing." – Kevin
