Joe Torre is best known for his Hall of Fame baseball career, but his most important work began in 2002, when he and his wife, Ali, launched Safe At Home. Inspired by Joe’s own experiences growing up in an abusive household, Safe At Home’s mission is to end the cycle of domestic violence and abuse through education. Safe at Home’s in-school program, Margaret’s Place, gives students a safe, trusted space to learn about healthy relationships, access support, and grow with confidence.

YWCA Metro St. Louis provides a variety of crucial services for women and their families: crisis intervention and housing for victims of sexual and domestic violence, Head Start and Early Head Start education and services that support families, and programs that promote career readiness to cultivate economic empowerment and self-sufficiency.

The Cardinals are partnering with the YWCA Metro St. Louis to highlight their 24/7 Crisis Help Line that those facing domestic or sexual violence, trafficking or stalking can call to receive help.
