On Sunday, July 2, the Cardinals hosted Robyn and Terry Badger II from Covington, Indiana during a pregame ceremony dedicated to celebrating the life and legacy of their son, Terry Badger III. 13-year-old Terry was more than a Cardinals fan, he was a tremendously talented baseball player – a third baseman and a pitcher whose lifelong dream was to play for the St. Louis Cardinals. In March of this year, Terry Badger III died by suicide after persistent bullying at school. During the ceremony, we asked fans across Cardinals Nation to join together in remembering TB3 - as he was fondly known by his family and teammates – as we presented the Badger Family with a custom Cardinals jersey featuring TB3’s name and number as a tribute to his dream of playing on our team.

Fans can support the family in a number of ways:
- The Terry A. Badger III Scholarship Fund has been established to benefit high school seniors who graduate from a Wabash River Conference High School.
- There is a TB3 Sports Complex in the works.
- The Badger family is selling memorial TB3 t-shirts.
