The Cardinals Academic Program integrates the game of baseball with school curriculum and provides hands-on activities in various locations at Busch Stadium.
Students in grades 3-8 will participate in three units, selected by the teacher (see below for unit descriptions). Units are designed specifically for Grades 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8.
Each unit was designed and written with Missouri and Illinois State Standards in mind. Students will apply their knowledge in real world situations.

Math
Explore the connection of baseball and geometry while practicing measuring skills with real baseball objects.
Design/Art
Discover the ideas behind logo design by looking at our historic “Birds-on the Bat” and then design and draw a Cardinals logo for the future.
Science
Use scientific inquiry skills to investigate the most exciting collision in baseball …bat and ball!
History
Examine and analyze artifacts to draw conclusions about how and why things change over time the way social scientists do.

CAP: $8 per student; includes 3 CAP units
Double Play: $14 per student; includes CAP experience and stadium tour (1 hour) OR museum visit (1 hour)
Triple Play: $16 per student; includes CAP experience, stadium tour (1 hour) AND museum visit (1 hour)
