ADAM WAINWRIGHT & PAUL GOLDSCHMIDT

Adam Wainwright's Foundation, Big League Impact has partnered with the Garth Brooks Teammates For Kids Foundation again to feed kids in every MLB city by immediately raising funds for the "Home Plate Project." Millions of children rely on school breakfast and lunch as their only meals each day. With the COVID19 health crisis shutting down schools, kids are going hungry. Donations are being collected from players for each MLB team, a portion of which will be multiplied by Teammates For Kids, and intended to feed children in each team’s market. Collectively, the effort has raised nearly $1 million.
The funding that Adam Wainwright and Paul Goldschmidt, the Cardinals' team ambassadors for the Home Plate Project, donated, in combination with funding from both foundations, will be dispersed to Cardinals Care partner agencies St. Louis Area Foodbank, Crisis Aid International, and Operation Food Search to help support hunger relief efforts in the St. Louis community.
