Hospital Visits

Each season, Cardinals players and their significant others take one day to visit five area children’s hospitals to deliver gifts, sign autographs, and to spread cheer to children in need.

During the COVID pandemic, players and their significant others participated in a number of virtual hospital visits and provided hundreds of gifts for hospital staff to distribute to the patients.

In 2019, the Cardinals Family visited Mercy Children's Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, St. Louis Children's Hospital and Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital. Combined, they visited more than more than 500 children, signing autographs, posing for photos, and handing out a baseball-themed bear, courtesy of Build-A-Bear.
