A gust of wind caused a balk in a Pacific Coast League game

With a regular season that spans over half of a calendar year, baseball often is played in some strange weather conditions, especially at the bookends of that season. Saturday, the Salt Lake Bees -- the Triple-A affiliate of the Angels -- hosted the Omaha Storm Chasers in conditions that prompted the National Weather Service to issue a high wind warning.
While the conditions weren't severe enough to cancel the game, they were significant enough to affect play. Behold the gust of wind that caused a balk in the top of the fifth inning:

The balk allowed Dean Anna to advance to third base, but Bees pitcher Troy Scribner worked around the wind by inducing an inning-ending popup from the next batter.
Though the Storm Chasers lived up to their name by travelling to Salt Lake City Saturday night, they were unable to secure the road win as the Bees withstood the wind -- Scribner's balk aside -- to win 5-2.
