The A's 50th Anniversary Team was honored, featuring some legendary names and awesome moments

The faces of Jose Canseco, Dallas Braden, Barry Zito and Mark Ellis graced Oakland-Alameda Coliseum Friday night for the Oakland A's 50th Anniversary Team. They were just a few of the names on the roster for the celebratory evening that was filled to the brim with legendary players voted by fans. In addition, the A's pulled out all the stops to make sure Opening Night was extra special.
The guys were welcomed with open arms prior to the A's 2-1 loss in Oakland:

Longtime equipment manager (and longest-tenured employee in A's history) Steve Vucinich threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Bob Melvin:

Harvey the Rabbit, of course, showed up:

Rickey Henderson reminded us how cool Rickey Henderson is:

Eric Byrnes made an entrance by running the gold carpet. Because well, that's what he does:

The Big Three:

This wasn't necessarily in relation to the celebration, but it was really cool:

Everyone was very excited:

Especially Coco Crisp, who brought back the Bernie lean:

It appeared to feel good to be back in Oakland.
