Aaron Hicks continues defensive clinic, grabs major air to snare a fly ball

What a week for Aaron Hicks. After picking up an outfield assist with the fastest throw ever recorded by Statcast on Wednesday, the Yankees outfielder dazzled again during Thursday's 7-3 loss to Oakland. A's infielder Chris Coghlan lofted a fly down the left-field line, only to see Hicks reel it in with an impressive jump:

Not to be outdone, Hicks followed up that defensive gem with another assist, cutting down Jed Lowrie in his attempt for a double in the sixth:

Hicks may be struggling a bit at the plate in his first few weeks in New York, but he's definitely making his presence felt on the defensive side of things.
