Alcides Escobar's son showed off his bat-flipping skills in a youth baseball game

In the Major Leagues, bat flips are something of a controversial topic; some view them as fun expressions of joy while others bemoan them as disrespectful to the opposing team. In youth baseball, however, there can be no question that a flip of the bat comes from a place of pure elation.
Alcides Escobar's son was definitely happy with his line drive to the left side in his youth baseball game, so he flipped his bat.

It's like that song we all sing in our youths: When you're happy and you know it, flip your bat. Young Escobar knew he was happy.
