Mike Trout picked up a surprise from Nike after the Angels game

On Thursday afternoon, Nike Baseball dropped a cryptic tweet alluding to … some kind of announcement:

Around the same time, Angels star Mike Trout posted his own tweet referring to the Nike tweet, so it was apparent something was happening -- and would be announced on Trout's Facebook page:

Heard @NIKEBASEBALL has a delivery coming postgame... Let's see what's up on Facebook LIVE tonight after the game: https://t.co/QQvKOWITDE

To which Nike replied with this video featuring a truck making a night drive in the general direction of Angel Stadium:

The big Facebook Live reveal came after the game, which the A's won, 5-4, and it all had to do with the Nike Air Zoom Trout 3:

Look for Trout to sport these new kicks on Friday when the Halos take on the A's again at Angel Stadium.
