On Flag Day, Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant sang the national anthem during an interview

Tuesday, June 14 is Flag Day. It's a day to honor the ol' stars and stripes, to count the 50 stars and 13 stripes, toast Betsy Ross and to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner." That holds true even if you're professional baseball players Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant being interviewed on Intentional Talk. If our national anthem begins to play, you remove your cap and let the words flow forth.
And no, Kris, saying you're "not a singer" is not an excuse:

See? Beautiful harmonies.
"It was so weird," Bryant told MLB.com's Carrie Muskat. "We were in the middle of the interview and they were practicing and they were so loud, and you couldn't hear. I was like, 'Should I wait until they're done here?' And then [Kevin] Millar and 'Riz' started singing."
Bryant wouldn't sing at first.
"I was confused -- I was like, 'Wait, we're really going to do this?'" Bryant said.
Watch the video at the top for Bryzzo's full rendition, and may you be inspired to break out into "The Star-Spangled Banner" during your own Flag Day celebrations.
