Baseball players are a superstitious lot. When you're playing a new game -- often in a new city -- every day for a full summer, it's no surprise that players would look to bizarre rituals and beliefs to give them something to hold on to. The stories can range from players refusing to change their clothes during hot streaks (that includes managers, as Jim Leyland wouldn't swap out his underwear) to Babe Ruth keeping a horseshoe with a four-leaf clover carved in it.
