Asdrubal Cabrera hit a huge walk-off homer and then sent his bat packing for the night

The Mets-Phillies game was an incredible back-and-forth affair going into the bottom of the 11th inning on Thursday night. There had already been five different lead changes, some really weird plays and some REALLY close game-ending moments.
So, when Asdrúbal Cabrera came up with two on in the bottom of the 11th and the Mets down two runs, he decided it was enough of this nonsense. It was time for this night to end.

Look at that bat flip. It's as if he's saying, "Great job, bat. Now you get on home."

The comeback win put the Mets a half-game up on both the Giants and the Cardinals in the NL Wild Card race. After the game, MLB.com's Danny Knobler asked the shortstop about his celebration technique, and Cabrera responded in three simple words:
"I was excited."
