This Baltimore fan earned a meeting with Albert Pujols by reeling in his record-tying homer

Albert Pujols etched his name in baseball history again during the Angels' 9-7 loss on Friday against the Orioles. It didn't take him long to do so, either.
Facing Jeremy Hellickson in the first inning with a runner on base, Pujols got the Angels on the board with a two-run smash down the left-field line. It barely cleared the wall, but it was a rocket:

The blast was No. 609 in Pujols' fabulous career, tying him with Sammy Sosa for eighth place on the all-time list. Sosa also held the mark for most homers by any foreign-born player -- now, he has company.
Given the importance of this home run, the Angels said that Pujols would meet with the fan who caught it after the game to trade for the ball. That lucky fan? Baltimore native Mike Clarke, who was at the game with his wife and kids.

Clarke told MLB.com Real-Time Correspondent Katie Snyder that when the ball was smoked to his section, his first concern was with his wife since Pujols' drive hit her in the ribs. Thankfully, she was OK, allowing Clarke to successfully scramble for the ball.
So, would Clarke trade the souvenir for a chance to meet Pujols? "Absolutely," he said.
That's music to Pujols' ears.
