Bryce Harper shattered his bat, but somehow hit a home run anyway -- and then flexed

Bryce Harper entered Monday night's game against the Mets already leading the Majors in homers with seven. Given his reputation, his power is unquestioned at this point, but he added just another dimension to it when he connected on a first-inning long ball.
Harper offered a tremendous swing on the first pitch he saw from Jacob deGrom. The ball went flying. The bat, however?

Shattered.
Just like sluggers Nelson Cruz and several others before him, Harper managed to pull off a broken-bat homer -- not to mention his eighth dinger of April already.
Harper knew he made great contact despite the damaged lumber, too. "I barreled it pretty well," said to MLB.com's Brian Heyman. "It just broke and kept going."
You can bet that an accomplishment like that is worth a flex.
