Byron Buxton made a diving catch that came right from Angels in the Outfield

As he's done so many times already this season, Byron Buxton made an absolutely phenomenal catch during the Twins' 2-1 win over the Mariners Thursday night. With runners on the corners and two outs in the fifth, Robinson Canó launched a ball to deep center, but unfortunately for Robbie, Buxton tracked it down:

Buxton's tremendous snag was highly reminiscent of another superb catch by a different rangy centerfielder: former Angels outfielder Ben Williams. Don't remember Ben Williams? Well, you may know him better as Matthew McConaughey.

(It's important to establish that behind Sandlot, Angels in the Outfield is the second best baseball movie for anyone born in the 90's. That's a fact and you cannot dispute that.)
The only difference here is that Buxton didn't have the benefit of literal angels. Though, who knows -- maybe the 2017 Twins actually do have some special friends up above helping them out.
