Cards No. 1 prospect Alex Reyes unleashed his 100-mph fastballs on the SiriusXM Futures Game

You may have heard of pitcher Alex Reyes: Cardinals No. 1 prospect and MLB.com's No. 11 overall prospect. But have you seen him? Tell us, have you seen him? (Buh-duh-duh)
Well, the 21-year-old right-hander pitched the first 1 2/3 innings for the World Team in the SiriusXM Futures Game on Sunday and he looked very, very good. He struck out four batters -- including Andrew Benintendi (No. 21), Clint Frazier (No. 23), Hunter Renfroe (No. 82) and Dansby Swanson (No. 6). Turner went down on a 101-mph fastball ... that was also moving diagonally across the zone.

While Swanson, first overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft, was left fishing for a curveball that snapped off on the outside corner.

Reyes hit triple digits on his fastball three times and 99 mph on eight other pitches. He talked to MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch about his performance after the game:
"I've reached [triple digits] in the season. I don't know if I've done it every outing or what. It must have been adrenaline, just being out there. It was only two innings, so I kind of wanted to let the fastball eat a little."
The future looks bright down in Triple-A Memphis, St. Louis fans.
