Carlos Gomez swapped pants with Jose Altuve, and it went exactly as you'd expect

Jose Altuve, if you haven't heard, is not the tallest player in MLB. It's part of the reason we love him so (beyond, you know, being incredibly good at baseball). Typically, he uses his stature to bring joy to all corners of the baseball world -- staring down a Goliath on the mound, helping Miguel Cabrera get in some quick on-field lifting, reinventing our very notion of a strike zone.
But on Friday, he used it in the name of science. With Marwin Gonzalez documenting the occasion on Snapchat, Altuve volunteered to answer one of mankind's most pressing questions: What would happen if he switched pants with 6-foot-3 Carlos Gomez? The answer, as it turns out, is exactly what you'd expect -- but that doesn't make it any less hilarious:

Gomez may just have been offering his teammate a replacement pair of pants, should he ever need them. Not that Altuve would know anything about that.
