We're not sure which was more majestic: Christian Villanueva's booming homer or his post-homer bat-drop

You've heard of dropping the mic, right? That dramatic way to end a speech/argument/comedy routine/speaking engagement, metaphorically slamming down a microphone as you walk triumphantly away, proud of your performance?
In the Padres' 8-3 win over the Marlins on Thursday night at Petco Park, San Diego's Christian Villanueva delivered a pretty sweet baseball version of dropping the mic, with his bat serving as the mic, of course.
As for the homer, it boomed down the left-field line, coming to a rest in the second level of the Western Metal Supply Co. building ... and then he dropped it:

The dinger even had "that sound" to it, when ball meets bat and lets out a very satisfying crackle:

Yeah, he got all of that one.
You hit a ball like that, you've earned the right to drop the bat like a champ.
