Just like last year, Cubs fans have begun leaving their marks on Wrigley Field's outfield walls
One of the lasting memories of the Cubs' march to a World Series championship last year was the spontaneous messages fans wrote in chalk on Wrigley Field's brick walls. They were heartfelt, with family and friends saluting the Cubs as well as sending wishes to those fans not here to finally celebrate a title.
Those messages have resumed at Wrigley Field during the National League Division Series presented by T-Mobile. The outfield walls along Sheffield and Waveland Avenues aren't as full of colorful messages just yet, but it's early in the postseason.
There were messages to grandmas and friends, some support for popular Cubs infielder
It will be interesting to see how far the Cubs -- and the wall of messages -- go.
