Ian Happ stopped, dropped and rolled ... and still reached first with a single

For all the talk of judging process instead of results and only praising an end if the means used to achieve it were sound, we all love a good redemption story where a character overcomes seemingly fatal mistakes to find success.
During Saturday afternoon's game against the Cardinals, Cubs center fielder Ian Happ provided a one-act play of redemption. Upon hitting a grounder to the right side of the infield, he stumbled, tripped and did a front flip on his way out of the batter's box.

Usually, Happ is out at first base. Instead, the ball snuck through the infield and Happ ended up at first with a single despite tripping and falling.
To claims that the end does not justify the means, Happ would reply that all's well that ends well.
