The D-backs are hosting dogs at Chase Field for every Sunday home game this season

Bark at the Park events, which many MLB ballparks hold once or twice each season, have always been great. Where else can you witness dogs taking in a sporting event alongside their owners? Sometimes you see things like a dog dressed as a hot dog, eating a hot dog:

But the D-backs just changed the whole game. On Monday, the team announced the installation of the PetSmart Patio, "where dog-loving fans can bring their dogs to all 13 Sunday D-backs home games in the 2016 season."
There will be dog ice cream, "Most Valuable Pup" awards, dog adoptions and even a dog park complete with a baseball diamond on which, we assume, there will be dog baseball games. Everybody cross your fingers that the D-backs remember this from a few years ago, and get dog cams for an entire dog lineup -- sorry, a starting (ca)nine:
