Darin Erstad just showed off his new fashion accessory: a Shohei Ohtani shirsey

Darin Erstad is an Angels icon. A first overall pick in the 1995 Draft, the slugging utility man rose to fame for his combination of power, contact and -- yes -- grit. (Well, that and his career as a punter while at Nebraska.) He won multiple Gold Gloves and even a Silver Slugger after hitting .355/.409/.541 with 25 home runs in 2000.
Though the rest of his career didn't reach those heights, he was a fan favorite in Anaheim. And, it turns out he still loves the team that loved him. So, when the Angels signed two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani, Erstad did what almost every Halos fan did: He bought a shirsey. Perhaps even better than those sweet 'ceps is Erstad's willingness to make fun of himself:

Baseball players: They're fans just like us.
