Determined to be the first to get a high-five, David Peralta tried to hold Taijuan Walker back

One day after David Peralta had his place in the D-backs' high-five line jumped by Grégor Blanco, he made sure it wouldn't happen again. And no, it wasn't a strongly worded letter that he had sent around the clubhouse that said, "Please respect the high-five line in the dugout. Let us be polite human beings." 
During the D-Backs' 11-0 victory over the Giants on Sunday, Peralta was ready to fight for his high-five pole position. After Chris Herrmann scored in the third inning, Peralta physically restrained Taijuan Walker from getting the first hand slap. 

"I saw that yesterday Blanco did it and I thought it was pretty funny," Walker told MLB.com's Jarrid Denney. "But Peralta held me, and I though 'Oh [no].' And Blanco said, 'You have to hold him!' But I was like 'he got me first.'"
Don't worry, though: Walker and Blanco have a plan to get the first high-five. "Next time it's gonna be me and Blanco; we're gonna block him. I'm gonna hold him and Blanco's gonna do it."
