Stand-up teammate Eduardo Nunez ran a mile in pursuit of a foul ball Buster Posey lost in the lights

So many things can go wrong when a popup is in the air. From collisions with teammates to just plain bad luck, your effort doesn't always go according to plan.
If you're able to stick with the play, however, good things can happen. In the Giants' 9-6 win over the Padres at Petco Park on Saturday night, third baseman Eduardo Núñez flashed some impressive range on a popup in the third inning, proving the above to be true. 
Seeing that Buster Posey appeared to have lost track of the ball, Nunez sprang into action -- sprinting past Posey and pitcher Madison Bumgarner to save the day: 

After a run like that, who can blame Nunez for taking a break in the protective netting behind home plate after pulling in the ball? He earned it, epsecially after a Statcast™ breakdown like this:
