Edwin Encarnacion simply could not believe this flyout wasn't a home run

Edwin Encarnacion is used to hitting home runs. Entering the Blue Jays' 10-2 win over the Mariners on Tuesday, he had mashed 41 of them this season -- one shy of his career high in 2012 -- and more than 300 of 'em during his 12 years in MLB. <o:p>
So, when he sent a ball sailing toward Safeco Field's center-field wall in the bottom of the first, he simply could not believe it didn't go over -- instead anticlimactically landing inside Leonys Martin's glove to end the inning.<o:p>

Encarnacion stood there for a moment, shaking his head and asking why the dinger gods had forsaken him so. 
But just as Job, Encarnacion eventually found prosperity: With a solo homer in the eighth inning, he tied his career best mark and released the Edwing:
